Awesome!!! I am glad to see a local Michigan one has started!!! If I can make a suggestion; can we make it historical in reference? What actually happened on Indepence Day in 1776? Speakers from a historical group? Concentrate on Constitution and the Founding Father’s principles. Have the kids dress up and wave flags! The competition for family activities is there, so why not make it family oriented too? Keep up the great work!!

    Great minds think alike 🙂

Actually the city of Lansing has events going on around the Capitpl starting with a parade at 11:00 so there will be activites for the family.

I will be posting details as I receive them under the “City Events” page
